Making girlfriend on social media, falling into love trap, raping Sagira in hotels, also revealed that Sagira was pregnant: Banaskantha accused arrested
AHMEDABAD: After a friendship broke out on social media in Ahmedabad, another minor was allegedly raped. Sagira was found wandering while Sardarnagar police was on patrol during the night period on last 18th. Sagira, who was being questioned by the police, was found to have been molested by her boyfriend. Following which, the police have arrested the accused. On the other hand, the police have started investigation on the issue of whether Sagira is pregnant or not by taking the report of gynecologist in the Civil Hospital. The accused Ayush Majirana is a native of Banaskantha Has been opposed to being. So the police have taken action against the accused.
Accused Ayush Majirana, who lives in Banaskantha, befriended Sagira from Ahmedabad on social media six months ago. Sagira was then caught in a love trap and for the last 3 months the accused used to come to Ahmedabad every week to meet Sagira.
He took her to a hotel under the pretext of meeting her and had committed atrocities with her. Meanwhile, Sagira is constantly busy with her mobile, which was reported to the family and her parents took the mobile. So Sagira came to mind and left the house. Which reached Naroda area in a state of wandering.
Meanwhile, Sagira was found on June 18 at around 1.30 pm while police were on patrol. So the police sent Sagira to a women's shelter. Where Sagira was a victim of rape and was also exposed to be pregnant.
Police were searching for Sagira's parents over the whole incident. Sagira was then handed over to her parents and Sardarnagar police arrested the accused and conducted further interrogation.
