Hyundai launches new 'StarGazer' 7-seater MPV, plenty of space for cabin

All New Hyundai Stargazer MPV: The 7-seater MPV segment in India has always been dominated by Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, as it was the only MPV Ertiga at this price point. But now the atmosphere has changed and recently Kia India has launched its affordable 7-seater Karens MPV in India. Hyundai is also considering launching an all new 7-seater MPV known as StarGazer in the Indian market. Hyundai has launched Stargazer MPV in Indonesia with a starting price of INR 15.5 crore, equivalent to INR 8.23 lakh in India. Its top model is priced at more than INR 20 crore, which is about Rs 10.72 lakh in Indian currency.
Typical MPV style and design
Hyundai has not given any information about this MPV at the moment, apart from this, there is no official confirmation yet about the launch in India. In the affordable MPV segment, Hyundai Stargazer will compete directly with Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Carence. Unlike the Kia Carens, the Hyundai Stargazer is given a typical MPV style and design. Its test model is given the same flat face and front section as the Hyundai Staria MPV. The car was spotted during testing some time ago, confirming its launch in India.
What will be the features of MPV?
Features offered on the Hyundai Stargazer include split headlamps, LED DRLs and a tapering profile. The latest Hyundai Grill is not seen in the test model offered on the recently launched new Creta SUV. The rear of the MPV has triangular shaped taillamps. We believe that Creta's engine options will be offered with Stargazer. In that case, the new 7-seater car could come with a 1.5-liter petrol engine, in addition to this the MPV could also be launched with a diesel engine.
