2nd Annual Ceremony of Surat Embroidery Thread & Zari Association (SETJA)
Textile industry is one of the two major industries of Surat city. The main business of value addition in this industry is the thread and lace industry. The industry is huge. Jari Udyog is the mainstay of the city of Surat. The second annual function was organized by Surat Embroidery Thread and Jari Association (SETJA), the main organization of this industry which is currently generating crores of revenue. In which more than 3500 business friends got together and all the business friends were committed as part of making the trade easier, smoother and better organized and also in an effort to make the cheater free trade faster. Association Vice President Deepakbhai Kukdiya said that along with this program, a mega blood donation camp was also organized as part of social cohesion. An estimated 200 more blood units were collected at the camp.
Shaileshbhai Sagapariya, Motivational Speaker and Chartered Officer of the State of Gujarat, as the main part of the program, motivated the people by explaining the unique meaning of Association Ekta in simple language through examples. Mahendrabhai Zadafia, Union Minister of the Association further said that Jatinbhai Nakarani, a victim of the tragic Takshashila fire incident which took place 3 years ago as part of the humanitarian cause by the Association, was given a cash amount of 0 1,01,000 by the Association A total of 50 3,50,000 has been raised with the help of 50,000 50,000. The event was attended by representatives of other organizations such as FOGWA Chamber of Commerce, FIASVI and Team Sardardham and called for consolidating trade.
