Know- Educational background of Samyak Jain
Samyak Jain lives in Rohini, Delhi. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Honors from SOL, Delhi University. He then did a course in English Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC). He later obtained his MA in International Relations from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
Great success in the second attempt
Samyak Jain's first attempt was made in the year 2020. In which he failed to pass the UPSC exam. However, he did not give up and once again took the UPSC exam in the year 2021. This time his hard work brought color and he got 7th rank.
Samyak Jain belongs to PWD category
Samyak Jain said, "The journey of UPSC was very difficult, but now looking back, this journey seems pleasant. He further said, "I am in PWD category and blind. I also had to enlist the help of a writer to write the exam. For me, my mother became a writer in the prelim exam and a friend of mine wrote a paper in Mainz.
My parents especially my mother have supported me a lot in this journey. Not only that, my friends helped me a lot. I needed books in digital format to study, my friends arranged all the books I needed. The place I stand today is due to the support of my entire family, my parents and my friends. This is not my only success. "
The preparation schedule of UPSC was as follows
Samyak Jain started preparing for UPSC in March 2020. When the lockdown was first applied to prevent corona virus infection. At the time he thought the colleges were closed. This is a good time to read.
He said, "There may have been a lockdown, sometimes it may have been removed, but in the meantime college studies remained online. In such a situation, I got a lot of time to prepare. I was giving 7 to 8 hours a day to prepare for UPSC."
During JNU it was felt that UPSC exam should be given.
Samyak Jain said, "When he reached JNU, many people around me were preparing for this exam. Then I understood UPSC and then started preparing."
The focus will be on these issues once IAS is formed
"Any policy that is being formulated for development and reform in our country is very good, but I don't think the policy is being implemented properly," said Samyak Jain. I want to focus on this issue. Along with this, I want to work on issues like girls education and women empowerment.
