Mumbai: Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, the country's largest company, has made a big announcement about the launch of Paji Telecom service at the company's annual general meeting today. Reliance has recently purchased the Paji spectrum and is likely to roll out Paji services in every major city in the country by Diwali. After that it will be the turn of small towns. Mukesh Ambani said that 5G service will be launched in every small and big city by December 2023. Addressing the AGM today, Mukesh Ambani said that we have invested two lakh crores for Paji services.
Reliance Jio is equipped with the fastest rolling out plan in the world. On this occasion Mukesh Ambani's son Akash Ambani said that there is a lot of potential in Paji which will change the lives of crores of people in our country. It will change the picture in agriculture, healthcare and education sector.
At Reliance's AGM, several plans for the future were announced, one of which included Jio Cloud PC. Customers will be able to use a virtual PC using JioFiber. It will not require any new investment or upgrade. It's a super affordable way to power a PC. Jio will also use its latest version for Paji which will be known as stand-alone Paji. It will not depend on 4G network at all. Mukesh Ambani said that Reliance has grown tremendously in all businesses and now the revenue of the company will cross 100 billion dollars. Reliance's consolidated revenue increased by 47 percent to Rs. 7.93 lakh crore has been crossed. During his speech, Mukesh Ambani reviewed the global economy and said that global uncertainty has increased due to high inflation and supply disruptions. But in the meantime India has grown and maintained stability. The Paji service was supposed to be launched in some parts of the country from today but Mukesh Ambani has extended the launch to Diwali festivities.
