ACB laid a trap and caught Superintendent Sushil Agarwal red-handed taking bribe from the second floor office in Nanpura GST Bhawan. Sushil Agarwal (retd) (Rest., Citylight. Originally Res., Rajasthan) who served as Superintendent in the office of Central GST and Central Excise Department on the second floor of Nanpura GST Bhawan demanded a bribe of Rs 5 thousand from a tax consultant. The consultant processed the mill owner's GST refund money. Hence, the Superintendent demanded five thousand rupees from the tax consultant to release the refund money. Later, the briber put the bribe money in the table drawer. It is possible that the Superintendent may have similarly borrowed money from many others to release the refund money. If ACB examines the files of last 6 months of refund release, a big scam may come out. ACB staff conducted a search operation at the Superintendent's Citylight residence late at night.
