Panic among people after demolition

According to The Express Tribune, the incident has left the Hindu community in Karachi in a state of panic, especially in the Korangi area where police have been deployed to prevent any untoward incident.

7.5 million Hindus in Pakistan

According to official Pakistani statistics, 7.5 million Hindus live in Pakistan. However, the community believes that there are more than 9 million Hindus in the country. Most of the Hindu population of Pakistan is settled in Sindh province.
