Atkot dt. 7: A total of 53 mountaineers who went for mountain climbing at a height of 16600 feet in Uttarakhand last date. 19 mountaineers have died after getting trapped in Avalank (snow storm) on 4th. While 8 are still missing, teams including NDRF, Army, Air Force are working on war footing to find them. Arjun Singh Gohil of Bhavnagar is also among those who are yet to be found.

Regarding this, Bharat Singh Parmar of Rajkot, who is attached to this camp, faced heartbreak and death at every moment in a telephonic conversation, came out of this storm and stopped at the Uttarkashi base camp and informed that on last 23rd, 53 people including 34 trainees led by the instructor, including women, were 17 thousand. Draupadi went up to a place known as Ka Danda at a height of more feet.

Stayed for 6 days in the base camp built at an altitude of 11500 feet, from there on the advance base camp at an altitude of 14500 feet. After reaching 29 Reached Camp One at an altitude of 16600 feet on 30th.

In the meantime, the system was called for rescue with accompanying satellite phones and other means. But before the system reached, around 10.45 am, only the survivors started the rescue operation and some of the survivors risked their lives and saved them.

Later, around 2.30 pm, the NDRF team first reached the base camp, but due to bad weather, they could not reach it. At around 4:30 pm, the Chetak helicopters of the army, which can fly in such an environment, could not perform the rescue properly due to the bad weather.

A joint rescue operation was carried out by NDRF, Army and Air Force from the next day. In which the trapped people were rescued. When the bodies of the climbers and the instructor were recovered. This includes Savita madam from Uttarakhand who has climbed Everest world record and another Naumi madam who is also from Uttarakhand.

Bharatsinh Parmar, who stayed at the Uttarkashi base camp, told 'Aqila' that 19 dead bodies have been recovered. While the rescue operation is still going on by the system to find 8. This includes Arjun Singh Gohil of Bhavnagar.

The guardians of the missing 8 adventurers have now reached Uttarkashi and the Gujarat government has also sent top officials of the Swami Vivekananda Mountaineering Institute to Uttarakhand.

According to Bharat Singh Parmar, rescue operations have started on war footing by the Uttarakhand government system and rescue.
