Liz Tus got 81326 votes while her rival Rishi Sunak got 60399 votes. Rishi Sunak had a huge lead in the first five rounds, but Liz Toos won during the final vote of Conservative Party members. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson openly supported Tusan in this election. He also asked party members and MPs to vote for Liz Toos. Boris Johnson is alleging that Rishi Sunak's resignation is the reason for him The Prime Minister's chair had to be lost.
