Tragic incident in Maharashtra, mother throws 6 children in a well one after another, all the children die
A shocking incident has taken place in Maharashtra. Where a mother killed her 6 children by throwing them into a well one after another and then sitting outside watching them die. All the children died. Police have arrested the woman after the incident. According to the police, it is learned that the women took this step due to a family dispute. They are from Borwadi village in Mahad taluka of Raigad district. By Tuesday morning all 6 bodies had been exhumed. The dead included five girls and a boy. The woman said the father-in-law had thrown the children into the well as he was annoyed with her.
A similar incident took place in Latur
A woman in Latur district threw her 2-year-old child into a well after an argument with her husband. The woman then informed her family members about this. The family did not believe him at first and began searching for him in the well until late at night. His body was later found by police.
Children range in age from 3 to 10 years
As soon as the information of the incident was received, Mahad MLA Bharat Gogaval rushed to the spot with the police and arrested the woman. The accused mother's name is Runa Chikhuri Sahni (30). The deceased have been identified as Roshni (10), Karishma (8), Reshma (6), Vidya (5), Shivraj (3) and Radha (3). After the children's deaths were confirmed, the woman also jumped into the well to commit suicide, but people rescued her.
