Corona cases increase by 45% in Gujarat, highest in Ahmedabad, second in Surat
While corona cases are on the rise in Gujarat, a total of 407 new corona cases have been reported in the state today. This is an increase of 45 per cent on Wednesday from 226 cases reported on Tuesday, while 90 per cent more cases were reported on June 1 than the 40 cases reported on June 1.
However, not a single person was killed in the state on Wednesday. Of the total cases registered in the state, 50 per cent or 210 cases have been reported in Ahmedabad alone. So far a total of 10946 patients have died in the Corona line. It is worth mentioning that the recovery rate is also declining against the increasing rate of corona. Corona's recovery rate was 98.97 percent. On the other hand, 190 patients underwent corona and so far a total of 12,15,806 patients have got rid of corona.
Corona's case, on the other hand, does not take the name of active cases as an addition. A total of 1741 active cases were reported in the state today, out of which 4 patients are currently on ventilator and 1737 patients are in stable condition.
If we look at the district wise cases registered today, 210 in Ahmedabad, 57 in Surat, 41 in Vadodara, 20 in Rajkot, 16 in Gandhinagar, 11 in Bhavnagar, 9 in Jamnagar, 8 in Valsad, 7 in Bharuch, 6 in Anand, 5 in Sabarkantha, 4-4 in Banaskantha, Kutch, Mehsana and 4 in Navsari. 2, Amreli, Patan and Surendranagar 1-1 cases and a total of 407 cases have been reported. A total of 11,10,21,457 people have been vaccinated so far as 55,638 people in the state had taken the first dose of the vaccine by evening.
