A major road disaster happened on Saturday in Aravalli district. In which a horrible triple accident has taken place near Alampur in Modasa. The accidental volcano erupted. Four to five people are feared dead in the accident. The accident was followed by long queues of traffic jams on the highway. According to sources, the accident caused a traffic jam on the Modasa-Nadiad highway. All three vehicles were overturned after the accident. Upon learning of the accident, the fire brigade rushed to the scene and tried to contain the blaze. Employees of the government including RTO officer, Modasa Mamlatdar and fire officer also rushed to the spot. All three vehicles were gutted in the fire.
According to sources, three trucks collided head-on near Alampur village in Modasa in Aravalli district. A truck full of chemicals caught fire after the collision. The Modasa-Nadiad highway was closed following the fire. About 10 kilometers of traffic was jammed on both sides of the highway. Modasa police rushed to the spot after the collision and tried to keep people away from burning vehicles. Arrangements were also made to divert traffic. According to locals, the incident took place around 10 am. According to locals, seven to eight people are likely to be trapped inside.
After the fire call, water tanker was fired from three tankers of fire. Mamlatdars of Modasa also rushed to the spot. According to the Modasa Mamlatdar, the fire may have started after two trucks collided. There is also a possibility of a CNG vehicle. The fire that broke out after the collision of the vehicles was so severe that all the three vehicles were burnt to ashes. A third truck driver was trying to overtake when two trucks collided. A large crowd gathered after the accident.
