In Dharpur, folk singer Kajal Mehria, her brother and driver were beaten and robbed

Patan: Folk singer Kajal Mehria, who had come to Dharpur to perform at a private wedding, was attacked by four others, including her brother and a former co-worker, who looted a gold necklace and vandalized the vehicle. Frightened, Singer informed the police and after receiving treatment at Dharpur Hospital, a case has been registered against the five persons.

Kajal Mehria, a well-known folk singer from North Gujarat, arrived in Dharpur on Monday evening to perform music at a wedding party. Then Shakrabhai Rabari Digdi, who had earlier worked in his group, started such a scuffle with 4 persons and broke the glass of the vehicle. Kajal's T-shirt was torn and a 5 tola gold bead was snatched.

Ramu left the Rabari group without paying the loan

The attacker, Ramu Shakrabhai Rabari, had previously worked in his group. But he left the group as he often demanded money as well as borrowed money and did not give it to him and then he called Kajal to another program but Ramu Shakrabhai Rabari attacked Kajal's caravan out of resentment that Kajal did not go to that program.
