Many cities in northern India, including Delhi-NCR, have been experiencing scorching heat for the past few days. On Monday, several cities in northern India were relieved from the scorching heat due to partly cloudy weather. This relief may last for the next four days, not even the heat wave.

The meteorological department said there was a slight drop in maximum temperatures. In the next few days, many cities in northern India are expected to get more relief from the heat due to storms and rains. RK Jenamani, a senior scientist at the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), said on Monday that heat waves would not prevail in the national capital and other North Indian states for the next four days from Tuesday.

The monsoon reached Andaman-Nicobar

On Monday, the monsoon reached the Andaman Sea and the southeastern Bay of Bengal. It is expected to reach the entire Andaman Sea and many parts of the Bay of Bengal in the next two-three days. Due to which, the monsoon forecast to reach Kerala by May 27 seems to be true.
