A large number of people participated in the fun fair organized by DICF on the occasion of International Family Day

Independence Amrut Mahotsav is being celebrated all over India. The DICF Revelry Skills Festival Anand Mela was organized by Diamond Industry Career Foundation on 15th May from 8.30 am to 11 pm at Saurashtra Patel Samajni Wadi, Minibazar as part of its participation as well as May 15 being celebrated as International Family Day. A total of 48 programs on different topics were organized throughout the day. In which a large number of people were present and enjoyed.

The main purpose of this fun fair was to create awareness among the people about family issues as well as family members when family members could not spend time with each other in the mobile age. Another purpose was to provide an opportunity for families to increase their knowledge of the social processes affecting them. The event featured trips ranging from fashion shows to yoga so that people from young to old could enjoy the family spirit to the fullest. From free eye diagnosis camps to free cooking classes, a large number of people attended and benefited. Swami Vivekananda Eye Hospital diagnosed 165 patients at the Anand Mela out of which those who need cataract surgery will be given free surgery. The chief guests present at the event and the members who presented works on stage were also honored.
